# :clipboard: Description of Result Layers for Velocity Calculations
|

|
|
|
At each step of velocity calculation ([instantaneous velocities](#calcul-des-vitesses-de-d%C3%A9placement-des-traceurs), [filtered](#filtrage-des-r%C3%A9sultats-instantan%C3%A9s) and [averaged](#moyenne-des-r%C3%A9sultats)), a specific layer group is created. This group always includes 3 types of layers:

|
|
|
|
- Velocity Layer. 
|
|
|
- Particles Layer 
|
|
|
- Isosurface Layer 
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
This layer allows visualizing the results as vectors, as illustrated below.
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
The following display options are available via the graphical toolbar (make sure to select the layer on which the display options should be applied):
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Configuration  opens the configuration window. This allows changing the appearance of the vectors and some display parameters for the results.
|
