# :clipboard: Description of Result Layers for Velocity Calculations
At each step of velocity calculation ([instantaneous velocities](#calcul-des-vitesses-de-d%C3%A9placement-des-traceurs), [filtered](#filtrage-des-r%C3%A9sultats-instantan%C3%A9s) and [averaged](#moyenne-des-r%C3%A9sultats)), a specific layer group is created. This group always includes 3 types of layers:

This layer allows visualizing the results as vectors, as illustrated below.

The following display options are available via the graphical toolbar (make sure to select the layer on which the display options should be applied):
- Configuration ![image82](uploads/a341e7d82761fc9e2543d1ee19743a36/image82.png) opens the configuration window. This allows changing the appearance of the vectors and some display parameters for the results.
